Kitchenwerks showcases the contemplative photography by Jeffrey Young.
This series was captured in the kitchen of Grace restaurant (503 College Street) with Chef Dustin Gallagher and Sous Chef Nathan Young.
These documentary style shots are essentially “anti-Gordon Ramsey”. Service in a modern restaurant kitchen is an intense ballet that has nothing to do with arbitrary belligerence and bullying. Jeff explains, “I saw a finely tuned team of individuals who had an uncanny awareness and generosity for each other, with one in charge and all the others moving in-step, together.”
